i just bought i fang chin spoiler and wanted t paint it to match th rocker panels. my question is, is that the right kind of paint i need to get it close to the finish on the rocker panels? and if it is how many coats should i put on?

Just wondering, what is a fang chin spoiler :?: Do you have any pics :?:

no i dont have any pics yet.. i bought it off america muscle if that helps they have pics of it there.. and i was going to use flat black spray paint.. is that alright? sorry i didnt state that in my original post.
 
do you mean like a mach 1 chin spoiler?

If you are going flat black, make sure to clean it with a wax and grease remover, like Ditzler DX330 or dawn dish washing soap. Scuff LIGHTLY with a fine scotch bright pad and then use a good bumper paint. These are available at your local automotive paint store. It will read "bumper paint" and should have enough flex additive in it. Apply just enough paint to cover, the thinner the better, less cracking and flaking that way, less to feather when you hit something and have to repaint it. Just one way to do it.

hes got an s197 stang so i dont think its the mach 1 we are thinking about... are you sure it doesnt come in matte black and paint is optional or atleast thats how it works for the new edge chin spoilers

i wish i came matte black..american muscle sells it primer grey..i guess its ready for paint? im not sure i think it is
