Default Vibration in clutch pedal.

Just wanted to ask if anybody has had this problem

My pedal vibrates from time to time. I can hear it, and feel it. Like when I’m in neutral and coasting to stop or just in a low gear.

I took it to the dealer today, and they said it was the clutch release bearing. They did not look but knew that was it. Must have seen it before.

Anybody had this problem? They want 439.00 to fix or 705 to replace the whole clutch. I will take it to another place before I pay that much.

also it seems like the motor RPM's don't idle down quick enough when I release the gas, could this cause more wear and tear on the clutch when shifting gears?

dealerships will charge way to much to fix anything, and the RPM are due to the flywheel, nothing really to worry about, if you upgrade your clutch to a aftermarket one I would get the fly wheel as well.

Default Vibration in clutch pedal

Greetings, I am having the same problem in my 99 GT. Have you pursued this any further and come up with an affordable fix? Just out of curioslty, do you have the original clutch in the car or is it an aftermarket?
