Anyone give any input on which is better. I open for any thoughts. Thanks.
Both are great. You really can't go wrong with either one. I personally like my KB. The power is just insane. Just be prepared to have to relearn how to drive your car with all the extra power.
I thought that was a great question, to which I did not know the answer so I began to look around. There are many articles dedicated to that very question. After reading a bunch of them, the answer is; I still don't know. Whipple is the roots style pioneer. Eaton is good enough to go on factory vehicle and be under a warranty and Kenne Bell has all the programming and software. Kenne bell usually requires a core ECM to swap or reprogram and requires upgraded injectors. The whipple, according to one article, requires a seperate computer and additional fuel injection to the intake manifold. I guess there is more than one way to skin a cat.

Huh??? You do not need to do any sort of ECM swap with any of these blowers. You just need to change the tune using a handheld device like the SCT X-Cal or Diablosport Predator. These updated tunes are needed for any type of power increases such as this.
I say the KB and Whipple are equal. they are both Twin Screw Superchargers and will provide almost identical power curves. The Whipple is a little more quiet than the KB so if you like the whine of the stock Eaton you might want to lean towards the KB. I have a Whipple because their customer service is better and I personally like the looks of the Whipple better. You will obviously need upgraded fuel system components if you want to push some good power through these blowers. At least upgrade your injectors to 60lbs, get a Kenne Bell BAP and get yourself a MAFia or SCT2400 MAF sensor. PM me if you have any other questions.

I have been asking everyone the same question because I want to upgrade too. I was really about to get the Kenne Bell, but after today I just talked to several places that dyno. They all said the same thing. They are almost the same in power, but what just made me change my mind about kenne Bell and going to Whipple was because the same issuer came up. The customer service with Whipple I have been told really care and help you out. The response about Kenne Bell was that they are not there to back you up with problems, and the said the other day they were working on a kenne bell that broke, and the customer service rep hung up on them and told them they weren't willing to help. I called Kenne Bell 2 days ago, and they were not very helpful in steering me to exactly what I need. They had the attitude just buy it and stop bothering me with questions. I don't know much at all about superchargers, and turbos, and that attitude made me feel pissed off wiht them, and I hav't even started to have problems with the actual product. Several people have told me they had similar problems wiht them, so I would reccomend Whipple. Call them both up, and see who you feel helps you out better, but fond out that stuff before you spend all your hard earned cash.

I believe the kennel bell would be best. Those guys have really done their homework. As for the boost by pass, a lot of people spend a lot of money, when all you have to do is go your egr, follow wires down toward the fender, green and red, and unplug it, your done, simple and no money spent, you don't like it, plug it back up. No money spent.

Both blowers are amazing, and they will give ya about just as much power as the other. But i like someone else said, i like the sound of the kenne bell, just screams. The only thing with kb is the customer service, and it can be very hard to get in touch with them, but i let my shop handle all that. And i have heard the whipple kit doesnt include everything you need for the install, but dont know that from experience, just heard that.

I was gonna go KB 2.6H. Was even on the phone ready to place an order. But i just didn't like the salesman's attitude, I sound young and was asking him some questions (what pulleys to order etc..) before making the purchase. He wasn't very helpful and acted like I was a tire kicker. I had cash in hand and he lost the sale because of it. Phoned Whipple and the rep for them was more than helpful and was even asking me questions to ensure i got exactly what i wanted out of the setup. He sold me on the new Gen 2 Whipple. I did a lot of research on these 2 blowers and both are great. But for me it came down to customer service and whipple trumps Kenne Bell in that department. The whipple is also 500 bucks cheaper and gets you the same results.
