I was taking a look at the typhoon intake kit they sell at late model resto It includes a 65mm throttle body and the intake elbow adapter for 550 dollars i think thats a real good deal. Has anybody used this setup in our 94 95 stangs, if so hows the fit and quality and did you notice any reasonable power gains. thanks in advance to anybody that can give some insight on this producthttp://www.latemodelrestoration.com/...PP-54021AK.jpg

There are quite a few people on this site that are using the Typhoon intake. But if you still have the stock heads, keep your expectations low. That intake won't perform well with the stock heads.
Also, another thing to consider is that the Typhoon is a Chinese knock-off of the Edelbrock RPM II intake. We all know about the quality of stuff that comes from China. So beware, there could be a lot of casting flash in the runners.
Avoid Blue Oval Industries like the plague!
Do a Google search for Blue Oval Industries, and all you'll find is negative comments. Just a heads up...

yeah ive heard about boi thanks for reminding me tough. i have a set of gt40 heads you think it will work fine with these heads?
If you have GT40 heads, I would recommend either of the GT40 intakes, Edelbrock Performer, or Trick Flow Street Heat intakes. if you had the heads ported to match the tyhpoon then it might be ok. But I'd still go with one of those I recommended...

There have been some people that have had no problems with BOI, but seriously, if you google them all you will find is BAD complaints.
So just be warned.
