I finally have my car to the point where I'd like to share a pic with other members, so here it is...
I'm going for a low profile, not-too-flashy look. So I ditched the rear wing and fog lights to clean it up a bit. I didn't realize it was Bullit-like until after I did it. I've only seen one Bullit around here. I like plain 5-spoke rims on Mustangs, so mine are just brushed aluminum. No chrome. I just installed the hood pins. They weren't tall enough to go through the hood on the outsides, so I did some fancy Dremeling/welding to get them where I wanted them. I built/welded the cat-backs myself. You can see where they come out in front of the rear wheel.
Right now she's up on jackstands again, getting ready to start installing JBA shorties. I soaked everything I could reach with PB Blaster and gonna let it penetrate for a while. I think I'm wearing more PB than I got on the car.
The other pic is my 4 wheel drive toy from last snow-day we had in NC. Pretty much the best day of my life. I'm in the process of getting stuck. Just beyond where my truck is located is basically sheer drop into a bunch of trees, so it was a good thing my buddy had tow straps. I think it's a cool pic, and a decent lookin truck.

BTW, this car was stock except for a BBK CAI just a few months ago. You can see by my signature I've been pretty busy on it. I've done every bit of wrenching myself, but I got a lot of advice from members of this forum. Thanks a bunch...
I'm gonna go cuss at my headers...

Nice ride man...Ever thought about tinting darker? Love the look though...Good job..........Ive got to say IMO.. the 99-04 body looks so sick. They have this really aggressive look. I love the sharp lines of the body. Once they are dropped and have some nice fat wheels tucked underneath, they sit and look like no other!!! Dont get me wrong, I sweat all mustang's...Even the v6's(In a diff. way) But IMO there is no car that has such a beast look as the 99-04 GT or Cobra. I about bust one the other day following a 03 Cobra dropped slam to the ground, growlin down road. I just sat back, rolled down my window's and enjoyed the show.. You got a Tach in that beast?
01 red gt 5 spd, bassani catback, short shifter, bbk CAI, 3.90's, steeda sport springs, cobra R rims 17x9 255/40 front 275/40 rear and as long as the money keeps comin so will the parts ;p

Oh, my bad. Yeah...it has a Functioning Hood Scoop lolz
Thanks for your replies. One of the best things about 'Stangs is the massive amount of aftermarket parts. Once you buy the car, you can make it however you want it. As long as you don't Rice it...

You have done a lot of work, for sure. Great job. And there is more than one Bullitt in the area I live right outside of Raeford, and come to Aberdeen quite a bit to play golf.
